Our First Cow
Jersey milk was our original goal, and we simply fell in love with the breed. Minnie was our first cow, and she has far exceeded our expectations. She is a loving mother, with a wonderful udder and great teat placement. She gives us beautiful miniature calves each year. We really have no complaints! She is a low end mid-size, which is perfect for milking. We milk once daily and get approx. 3 1/2 gallons while calf sharing, she's definitely a good producer and a keeper here on our farm!

Minnie's udder has continued to improve after each calf - and after her 2022 calf, she has really impressed us! Here is a pic from 2021 while nursing her calf full time. We will add a current udder picture after she has her calf in early 2025.
